Big Day Out

Worthy of its own thread as Silverchair plays techno style above me in the internet cafe. Worthy if you ever see the footage of Silverchairs performance. The crowd was a trouble for Daniel as the applause for the backup singers wasn't really good enough..(barely hearty). We managed Creep alright but when it came to Walking in a straight line my lack of research showed and I had to sing two lines twice. Daniel complemented one group but said.."that guy was terrible" (meaning me). I'v been practicing though, hows this; waking up early with a fever...walking in a straight line set me on fire in the evening...everything will be fine waking up stonger in the morning...walking in a straight line lately I'm a desperate believer ...walking in a straight line!!!
Punkly, Anti Flag had some good moments and Midnight Juggernauts were the next best act. I didn't connect Faker with Sydney and didn't pay attention, but Regurgitator and Operator Please demanded it!

did you get any pics, were you at brissy or sydney? I heard the crowd gave it to silverchair at sydney. I think the guy is awesome, drunk brain dead crowd wanting to here tomorrow played...didn't bow to pressure and played a set that would suit a theatre rather than a sweaty crowd waiting to see RATM. Good on em, integrity in tact. i have been searching the web for some footage of hard-ons at sydney bdo. any out there?

http://picasaweb.google.com.au/rule.michael/Mania I have only web published a few photos of photos I took. The first one of a stage (Bjorks) was taken while Silverchair was playing. I have two other of Silverchair. They said it would be their last ever gig!! http://au.geocities.com/milleniumidi/2007.html Suicidal Tendencies the end for Silverchair? you decide! Infectious Grooves upcoming tour dates included! Were the HardOns a direct replayment of Bjork for the Sydney BDO? Thats a coincidence if so..........
I saw Infectious Grooves at Soundwave on Monday which is a full circle of sorts. No pictures this time...shame cause the they looked / sounded tops. As they warmed up some cockatoos perched on the trees lining the oval at dusk. Not a big crowd for them, so it didn't hurt a bit. I think some chicks watching Alexonfire were dragged over too for wearing clownface T-Shirts! (heh heh)
