Ya, is good.
I got "Yellow Submarine" going good.
Once again a few props and the scene was set.
2.1 speaker portholes...blue sheet rippling ocean...trading card supplement (good info and graphics).

Just then (today) I was struck by a Life of Brian poster at the Astor Cinema....it had an Alien on top of the block letters which held its eyeballs with its hands....not too different from Rays graphic. Whats kind of weird about it is that I have Monty Python cards next to yellow submarine cards in my album. tongue
All you need to do is look at the add smilies to realise mabey we all really do live in a yellow submarine!!!

Well, as "far out" as that all was 94.5 stole the night with the top ten from November 1989. Jive Bunny got pumped and the rest were winners too. I couldn't help comparing the stoners that we were by then to Heath Ledger who was propably still in school doing casual roles as a young homosexualhuh!

Its a bit hard to realise whos taste the pops claim represent.

the past two days I have been remembering how amazing Jawbreaker's 24 Hour Revenge Therapy is.....wow. One of my all time favorite albums by far.

Blackie- no offense, but man you couldn't pay me to see Dream Theatre....too wanky for my tastes. They are like Emerson, Lake and Palmer....AFTER going to Berklee College of Music. BUt then again, I know you love the prog. and it has never been my thing. I suck at liking prog.

Jerry A. is right!
I think that without a doubt one of the coolest pairings in the history of music is Poison Idea and the Hard- Ons.
See Her Tonite and The Blade are so unbelievably - I don't have an adjective that fits how I feel about those songs. The Blade fucks me up to this day and I can't believe how good Too Far Gone sounds.
I cherish the Test E.P., and it will forever be one of my favorites. They don't make 'em like you guys anymore!!!

Cheers to "Fat Fuck" wherever you are and long may the Hard Ons represent everything that makes music the food for the soul that it is!

Poison Idea = best band I ever saw. Best band we ever played with. I saw Jerry A. dive into a see of girls at an all-ages show in Salt Lake City in 1989. It was Moses parting the sea. But before he dove in, he did this incredible hopping fairy dance that was very un-punk. it was bizarre and funny. then he got up on stage and said "Hard-ons are up next: The best band in the world. And Jerry A doesn't lie". I was flattered beyond belief.
